H.I.M.'s 'Love Metal' Certified Platinum In Finland
June 10, 2003H.I.M.'s latest CD, "Love Metal", has been certified platinum for sales in excess of 30,000 copies in the group's native Finland. "Love Metal", the group's fourth full-length effort, has reportedly shifted over 300,000 copies worldwide.
The follow-up to 2001's "Deep Shadows And Brilliant Highlights", "Love Metal" marks a return to a heavier sound for the group, who were criticized by some for pursuing an overly pop-flavored direction on their last effort. "Love Metal" was mixed by Tim Palmer (OZZY OSBOURNE, SEPULTURA) in Los Angeles and London.
H.I.M. will be supporting OZZY OSBOURNE on a European tour in September. Also scheduled to appear on the bill are GODSMACK.
