HACKNEYED Checks In From The Studio

April 24, 2009

German death metal lunatics HACKNEYED have entered Weltraumstudios in Munich with producer Corni Bartels (DIE ÄRZTE, KILLERPILZE, END OF GREEN, MEGAHERZ etc.) to begin recording their new album, "Burn After Reaping".

Commented drummer Tim: "The last few days meant nothing but hard work to us and we are still recording at the Weltraumstudios in Munich. The guitar and drum tracks are already laid and let me tell you what — they really kick ass! Phil's finished most of the vocals so we just have to finish them and get the bass tracks done."

Songtitles set to appear on the CD include:

* Kingdom Of Thoughts
* Guantanamo Bay Holiday
* Deatholution
* Redying
* March Of The Worms
* Weed Flavoured Meat

"Burn After Reaping" is scheduled for release this summer via Nuclear Blast Records.

HACKNEYED recently announced the departure of their longtime friend and guitarist iX. A permanent replacement has just been found in the shape of Juan Sierra.

HACKNEYED's video for the song "Gut Candy" can be viewed below. The track comes off the band's full-length debut, "Death Prevails", which was produced by Roger Grüninger and mastered by Achim Köhler. The CD was released in July 2008 via Nuclear Blast Records.
