HADES Drummer Stricken With Cancer

January 17, 2003

HADES drummer Ron Lipnicki is battling testicular cancer which has spread to his lymph nodes. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment to fight the disease. Stated HADES guitarist Dan Lorenzo: "[Ron] is only 31 [years old and a] REALLY nice guy. Unlike me, I've never heard him say a bad word about anyone. Out of 50 musicians I've jammed with in my life, nobody ever came close to Ron for sheer talent. I'm not saying this now because he has cancer. Spoke with Ron last night after his fourth straight day of chemo and he sounded great."

BLABBERMOUTH.NET would like to extend our wishes to Lipnicki for a full and speedy recovery.
