HALESTORM's LZZY HALE Launches SCISSOR HAPPY Fashion Line

November 27, 2013

Lzzy Hale, front woman of Grammy-winning hard rock band HALESTORM, today launched Scissor Happy, a clothing and accessory line featuring Lzzy’s designs.

"After years of glueing, sewing, bending and breaking things in the back of the bus...I am so excited to finally have something to share with all of the crazy people who inspire me," said Hale. "Introducing 'Scissor Happy by Lzzy Hale,' my new clothing/jewelry and accessories line!

"All of these pieces are hand made on the road and created by me.

"This four-piece launch line is just a taste of what's to come, and all of my pieces are unisex, so no matter what side of the pendulum you swing at, there's a little something for everybody!

"Thank you so much to everyone for enabling me to share my passions with the world! 'Tis only the beginning! Rock On!"

Lzzy Hale was asked in a new interview with Metalshrine if she would ever consider baring all in the pages of Playboy. While she didn't rule it out, the vocalist said she didn't think it was "necessary." Hale explained, "To me, it would have to be a good situation, whether it would be Maxim or Playboy or something like that . . . it would have to do with however I feel at the moment. If I feel I wanna be a little bit debaucherous and do that, I probably will. I feel bad for people who think it's a necessary evil."

Hale continued that she would not judge anyone else for posing nude, saying, "If you're one of those people that has been working extremely hard for many years with your body or your image to look good and you wanna show everybody that, more power to you! If you're one of those people that don't wanna do it for moral reasons or religious reasons, do not! It's your prerogative. I'm more of a pro person and whatever you feel like doing, rock on!"

Hale, who has gotten her share of "Hottest Rock Chick" accolades in magazines, gave The Pulse Of Radio her perspective a while back on being a sex symbol. "My view of it really is to make sure that you're good at what you do, and so that when people actually want to look beyond the centerfold [laughs], that you're actually good and you have something to back it up," she said. "I think that most of us are really trying to push the envelope and, you know, make sure that we're musicians first and that the sex is just kind of the icing on the cake."

HALESTORM recently released "ReAniMate 2.0: The CoVerRs eP", a six-song EP features tracks originally written and recorded by JUDAS PRIEST, AC/DC, PAT BENATAR, FLEETWOOD MAC, MARILYN MANSON and DAFT PUNK.

HALESTORM won the Grammy Award for "Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance" earlier this year for the track "Love Bites (So Do I)", from 2012 sophomore effort "The Strange Case Of…"
