HALFORD, LEMMY, SLAYER To Guest On This Season's 'That Metal Show'; Schedule Revealed

April 26, 2010

Heavy metal and hard rock enthusiasts, prepare for battle: VH1 has announced the premiere of the fifth season of the distinguished "That Metal Show", the one and ONLY place on television to celebrate all things hard rock and heavy metal.

Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson, and Jim Florentine are back and ready to rock on VH1 Classic's hit original series, "That Metal Show", beginning Saturday, May 8 at 11 p.m. Rolling Stone magazine recognized the show in their "50 Reasons to Watch TV Right Now" and with upcoming guests like SLAYER, Rob Halford and Lemmy Kilmister, it's no wonder. "That Metal Show" is a 30-minute round-table talk show where rock legends hang out and discuss their past and current projects, while interacting with metal fans that make up the studio audience.

Making the fifth season even bigger and badder than ever before, interviews will be double the length from previous seasons allowing Eddie, Don and Jim to go more in-depth with each artist. "That Metal Show" has also added exciting new segments, "The Video Vault" and "Word Of The Metal God" and are proudly bringing back viewer favorites, "Stump The Trunk", "Whatever Happened To" and the heated weekly debate, "The Throw Down". Tune in to VH1 Classic on May 8 at 11 p.m. to join the debate on "That Metal Show"'s most rocking season yet.

Guests appearing on the fifth season of "That Metal Show" include:

* May 8 - Lemmy Kilmister
