HALFORD's 'METAL MIKE' Jams With Ex-DEATH Drummer RICHARD CHRISTY For FUSE TV

January 30, 2008

Guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM, SEBASTIAN BACH, TESTAMENT) has issued the following update.

"[I] recently had a chance to jam with another one of my favorite drummers, Richard Christy. Many of you must know of Richard from DEATH, ICED EARTH and CONTROL DENIED. DEATH's 'The Sound Of Perseverance' is still always on my MP3 player.

"We got together in NYC's Gibson Showroom / The Hit Factory to jam on some PANTERA and SLAYER for Fuse TV. More on the outcome on that soon, but it was a great pleasure tearing it up with Richard. Great guy, superb talent.

"I have been writing new music, keeping only the best and I am about 10-11 completed tracks into another record from my solo side. I'll be doing some solo / Metal Mike's PAINMUSEUM dates in the summer in the U.S.

"In the meantime, I have been taking my Metal Day guitar workshops on a little road trip. Did one in Pennsylvania recently and now back to New Jersey for this Saturday, February 2 date at NJ's Aarius Studios in Seyreville. I'd like to say thanks and welcome Digitech, D'Addario Strings and Jackson Guitars as our sponsors. I feel privileged to have such great companies in support of Metal Day.

"We are still accepting four to five more students for this Saturday's session, so if you interested in attending, send an e-mail with a heading 'Metal Day NJ' to [email protected]."
