HAMMERFALL Guitarist To Perform With Heavy Metal Tribute Band
August 28, 2004METAL MONARCHS, the heavy metal tribute band based around HAMMERFALL guitarist Oscar Dronjak, will make a live appearance on Saturday (August 28) at the season-ending party at the Metallterrassen club in Gothenburg, Sweden. A number of local metal musicians will be DJing at this special event.
As previously reported, HAMMERFALL will enter Lundgaard Studios in Denmark with producer Charlie Bauernfeind (BLIND GUARDIAN, GAMMA RAY, RAGE) in early September to begin recording their new album, tentatively due on March 7, 2005 through Nuclear Blast Records. A single will precede the album release in January. Songtitles set to appear on the follow-up to 2002's "Crimson Thunder" include "The Templar Flame", "Born to Rule" and "Fury of the Wild". "We will certainly outdo all our previous albums and get one step closer to the immortality of heavy metal," Dronjak said in a statement.
