March 18, 2008

Finnish rock 'n' roll legends HANOI ROCKS have issued the following update:

"HANOI ROCKS fans will have a chance to download an exclusive Hanoi Rocks Hypermobile flyer to their mobile phones during HANOI ROCKS' acoustic gigs, which take place in Tavastia club, Helsinki, Finland on Thursday, March 20th. Hanoi Rocks Hypermobile flyer is completely new fan gift, including totally exclusive HANOI ROCKS material, for true fans only. Hanoi Rocks Hypermobile mobile phone service is a wireless java application, which requires only a Bluetooth connection. The band's fans are able to download the flyer to their mobile phones during the two Tavastia gigs only.

"Mobile Flyer is created by Backstage Alliance. It is a digital application, which works as a totally new tool in mobile marketing and promotion, being a fan product itself. It will bring a new, unique dimension to a live show occasion. Mobile Flyer is a new digital way to share interesting, versatile, up-to-date information which can always be tailored to artist's and/or promoter's needs. In the near future Mobile Flyer can be updated in real time.

"HANOI ROCKS will play a series of acoustic gigs during the spring under moniker 'Hanoi Rocks Steppin' Out Acoustically.' Tavastia gigs on Thursday, March 20th will start 6 p.m. (no age limit) and 10:30 p.m. (18 years and over).
