Hard Rock Cafe Celebrates AC/DC Guitarist's 50th Birthday

April 4, 2005

According to The Sacramento Bee, Hard Rock Cafe is celebrating the 50th birthday of Angus Young of AC/DC (it was March 31) by giving a free Legendary Burger (made with Angus beef, get it?) to anyone named Angus. It can be your first, middle or last name, but it has to be official — as in showing up on a government-issued photo ID. A description of the burger, taken from Hard Rock's web site, is as follows:

"Get ready AC/DC . . . there's a new Angus in town! For more than 33 years, Hard Rock Cafe has been known for great American food and its unparalleled collection of memorabilia from the world's greatest rock legends including ELVIS PRESLEY, JIMI HENDRIX, U2 and NIRVANA. Now, Hard Rock Cafe announces the addition of the world's next great icon — the Legendary Burger, our tastiest burger yet, made with 10 ounces of Certified Angus Beef, the world's premium brand of fresh ground beef."
