HARDCORE SUPERSTAR Demoing New Material

November 27, 2006

Swedish sleaze rockers HARDCORE SUPERSTAR have been writing new material for the band's forthcoming album. The guys are currently in the studio recording new demos. No further details are available.

As previously reported, HARDCORE SUPERSTAR has been confirmed for next year's edition of the Rock Hard Festival, set to take place May 25-27, 2007 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR released a live DVD, entitled "Live Zone", in June via Pan Vision. The disc features a recording of the band's live performance on March 25, 2006 at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg, Sweden.

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR's latest, self-titled effort was released in Sweden in early November 2005 on the Gain label. The group's first single off the new CD, "Wild Boys", was released June 2005 in Sweden, where it reached position No. 11 on the single chart.

"Hardcore Superstar" was nominated for a Swedish "Grammy" in the "Best Hard Rock" category.
