Swedish sleaze rockers HARDCORE SUPERSTAR have issued a statement explaining their absence from this past weekend's Download festival, whick took place June 8-10 at Donington Park, Leicestershire, England.

Says the band: "To all our fans that waited for us at Download festival we are so disappointed that we couldn't make it.
