HARDCORE SUPERSTAR: Gothenburg Show To Be Filmed For Upcoming DVD
January 6, 2006Swedish sleaze rockers HARDCORE SUPERSTAR will play two shows at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg, Sweden on March 25. The first performance, which will have no age limit, will be filmed for the band's upcoming DVD.
As previously reported, HARDCORE SUPERSTAR's video for their new single, "We Don't Celebrate Sundays", has been posted online at this location (Quicktime required). The song comes off the band's latest, self-titled effort, which was released in Sweden in early November on the Gain label. The group's first single off the new CD, "Wild Boys", was released last June in Sweden, where it reached position No. 11 on the single chart.
"Hardcore Superstar" has been nominated for a Swedish "Grammy" in the "Best Hard Rock" category. Other nominees this year are OPETH ("Ghost Reveries"),CANDLEMASS ("Candlemass"),HAMMERFALL ("Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken"),and MESHUGGAH ("Catch Thirty Three").
