HARDCORE SUPERSTAR Launches Guitarist Search

Swedish sleaze rockers HARDCORE SUPERSTAR have launched a guitarist search following the recent departure of Thomas Silver.

"As we are now looking for a new permanent guitarist we're asking all of the great guitarists out there who think you could fit in with us to let us know who you are!" the band writes in a statement. "We need a video or audio recording of you playing guitar, a photo and some information about you. Please send this to [email protected]."

Thomas Silver announced last week that he was "tired of music and touring" and left HARDCORE SUPERSTAR amicably.

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR will continue its successful world tour with the help of temporary guitar player Vic Zino from the band CRAZY LIXX.

Fan-filmed video footage of HARDCORE SUPERSTAR performing the song "Dreamin' in a Casket" on December 11, 2007 in Rome, Italy can be viewed below.

"Dreamin' in a Casket" is the title cut of the band's latest album, which came out on November 7 via Gain Music Entertainment. The CD was partly recorded at In Flames Studio in Gothenburg and was produced by Adde and Martin Sandvik. A limited-edition version of "Dreamin' in a Casket" contains a documentary DVD.

The "Dreamin' in a Casket" video was shot on October 28.
