HARKONIN To Enter Studio In November

October 23, 2009

HARKONIN — the St. Louis, Missouri-based "blackened war metal" act featuring former EULOGY drummer Clayton Gore — will enter Firebrand Studio in November to record its fourth album, entitled "Detest". "We are very much looking forward to it," says Gore. "It's the first time we've properly recorded new material in over three years, and a lot has changed for us in that time.

"We've been working hard on pre-production, which is something we've never really done before.

"This album will be much more focused, more tight, and an accurate representation of where we are musically."

The "Detest" artwork, which was created by Mark Cooper of Mindrape Art, can be seen below.

The track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. Into Oblivion
02. Ruled By Tyrants
03. Chaos Anthem
04. Insurrection
05. The Sleeper Has Awakened
06. Black Storm Jackals
07. Spiritual Hypnosis
08. Exhauster Of Souls
09. Disease
10. Detest

A pre-production demo of "Ruled By Tyrants" can be heard on the Battlegod ProductionsMySpace page.
