March 9, 2009

Get In Magazine conducted an interview with bassist Michael Murphy the Indiana-based Christian metalcore band HASTE THE DAY prior to the group's February 28, 2009 concert in St. Petersburg, Florida. Watch the six-minute chat below.

HASTE THE DAY's latest album, "Dreamer", sold 7,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 68 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD was produced by Andreas Magnusson, who has previously worked with THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER and OH SLEEPER.

"Mad Man", the new video from HASTE THE DAY, can be viewed below. "It's more or less a performance video," says singer Steven Keech. "We're playing inside of paintings that were done by Outsider Art. All of the paintings in the video were created by autistic artists, including Adolf Wolfli, Scottie Wilson, and Henry Darger."
