HATE Completes Work On 'Threnody' Video
May 17, 2008Polish extreme metal band HATE recently shot a video for the song "Threnody" in a coal mine in Silesia. According to the group, the clip was directed by Maciej Dabrowski, and the production part was realized in collaboration with Rochstar one of the biggest independent production houses in commercial Polish TV. The video's storyline tells the tale of a person "living on the edge of two worlds, real and transcendental one. He is confronted with individuals from the other side and finds himself in a trap. The picture will contain symbolical references linked to the themes from the recently released album 'Morphosis'."
HATE released its new album, "Morphosis", on February 4 via Listenable Records. The CD was mixed in July/August 2007 at Hertz Studio in Poland by Wieslawski Bros. (VADER, DECAPITATED).
According to a press release, "HATE's previous album, 'Anaclasis', showed an adventurous and experienced death metal band, unleashing innovative and memorable material without falling into being over experimental and hard to digest for the listener. 'Morphosis' sounds even more disturbing. They've twisted the nail further into that fresh direction and have never sounded as catchy and intense while staying fully connected to the death metal genre!"
