HATEBREED, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN Added To OZZY OSBOURNE's 'Monsters Of Rock'

April 15, 2008

Although they weren't named in the official press release announcing the event, HATEBREED and THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN appear to have been added to the lineup of bands performing at Calgary, Alberta, Canada's McMahon Stadium on Saturday, July 26 as part of OZZY OSBOURNE's The Monsters Of Rock.

The festival billing is now shaping up as follows:

OZZY OSBOURNE
JUDAS PRIEST
SERJ TANKIAN
CAVALERA CONSPIRACY
SHADOWS FALL
VOIVOD
TESTAMENT
HATEBREED
THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN
3 INCHES OF BLOOD
PRIESTESS
ZIMMERS HOLE

The Monsters Of Rock will provide metal fans a unique opportunity to see the greatest champions of hard rock together on a single stage. No other music event this year will come close the matching the power and intensity of this legendary gathering. Don't miss your opportunity to take part in hard rock history!

"Outside of Ozzfest, there's no tour like this and that's what makes it so exciting for Calgary," Dave Johnson, spokesman for The Union, the promoter behind the show, told the Sun Media.

"There hasn't been a show at McMahon like this in a while. We're excited to welcome Calgarians back to this venue for a show of this size.

"Really, the only concerts that rival this kind of lineup are the festivals that are held in Europe," says Johnson.

"It's going to be a beautiful summer day and we're going to put on a mega old-fashioned rock show."

Tickets go on sale Friday April 18 at 12 noon at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone, and online at Ticketmaster.ca and UnionEvents.com for $119.50 - 49.50. VIP packages, which will include express admission, laminate, floor access and a private hospitality area, will also be available for a limited time (must be 18 and older to purchase).
