HATESPHERE Signs With NAPALM RECORDS

November 21, 2008

Danish thrashers HATESPHERE have inked a deal with Napalm Records. The group's new album is tentatively due next spring.

Commented guitarist Peter "Pepe" Lyse Hansen: "The last year has been really hectic for us. Not in a bad sense, but we have been working hard on both new material, playing shows and changing the lineup. The great changes the band has been going through have meant that we needed a record label that would support us 100%. Napalm is not only very professional, they also have a great varied roster, and they have shown to be willing to support HATESPHERE in the way that we want. Our new album has been just completed, and no need to say that we really can't wait to get started with our work with Napalm. Early next year the album will be out, and Napalm Records and HATESPHERE are on their way. See you out there — stronger than ever!"

The new HATESPHERE album was recorded with producer Tue Madsen at the Antfarm Studio in Aarhus, Denmark.

HATESPHERE was honored in the "Hard Rock" category at the annual Danish Music Awards (the Danish Grammy Awards equivalent). The 40th Danish Music Awards show was held on February 23 at Tivoli in Copenhagen, Denmark and was broadcast live on MySpace.

Fan-filmed video footage of HATESPHERE performing live at the TMF2008 (Total Metal Festival) on September 20, 2008 at New Demodè in Bari, Italy can be viewed below.
