HATESPHERE: 'The Sickness Within' Enters Danish Chart At No. 87
October 7, 2005Danish thrashers HATESPHERE's new album, "The Sickness Within", has entered the national chart in the group's home country at position No. 87.
As previously reported, the video for the album's title track has been posted online at this location.
"The Sickness Within" is scheduled for release on October 26 in Japan and early 2006 in North America via Steamhammer/SPV. The Danish thrashers' first tour in support of the album is with SOILWORK, beginning October 5 in Finland.
The follow-up to 2004's "Ballet of the Brute", "The Sickness Within" was recorded in part at Jailhouse Studios with producer Tommy Hansen (HELLOWEEN, PRETTY MAIDS). Guitars and bass were recorded at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark, with producer Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, INVOCATOR). This dynamic duo was also responsible for the production on the band's latest effort, "The Killing EP", which was released last January. Included on the album is a guest appearance by NEVERMORE guitarist Steve Smyth (ex-TESTAMENT) on the song "Marked by Darkness".
