HEAD CONTROL SYSTEM Working On New Material

May 8, 2008

Daniel Cardoso (ex-SIRIUS, RE:AKTOR) has issued the following update on HEAD CONTROL SYSTEM, his heavy groove/rock/metal collaboration with Kristoffer Garm Rygg (ULVER, ex-ARCTURUS, BORKNAGAR):

"Since [HEAD CONTROL SYSTEM's debut album] 'Murder Nature' [2006] was released, Kristoffer and I have both kept ourselves busy with extracurricular activities. But as certain fans may already have gathered from our recent MySpace treat, a cover of SEAL's (!!!) classic 'Kiss from a Rose', something is indeed rearing its head underneath the shadows of the Portuguese sun. Large doses of audio has been ripped from our brainwaves and onto our studio's control systems.

"The next step on our masterplan to subvert the world as we know it, or more modestly, make another record, is in progress. Yay! There are yet no schedules, no dates, no stress. We just wanted to let our fans know that we're already having a blast listening to and developing our newborn tracks (with clever names such as 'Track 2', 'Track 3' and, Kristoffer's favourite, 'Track 4'),and that we hope to present them to you sometime 2009. Recordings should be finished before the year is over. We are running out of time. 2012 is nigh.

"On a side note, I've been playing drums, studio and live, with progressive band OBLIQUE RAIN (Major Label Industries) and dark rockers HEAVENWOOD (Recital Records). Both bands produced by the undersigned at Ultrasoundstudios."
