HEARSE Films 'Sundown' Video
February 9, 2009HEARSE, the Swedish "death 'n' roll" band featuring former ARCH ENEMY singer Johan Liiva and ex-FURBOWL drummer Max Thornell, filmed a video for the new song "Sundown" this past Saturday (February 7) in Stockholm with Owe Lingvall and Oscar from Village Road Film. The group says, "[Owe and Oscar were] very nice dudes indeed and great to work with. [We] also really like the stuff they have done before (THE RASMUS, CARNAL FORGE etc.),so [we are] pretty sure we will end up with a nice HEARSE video too!"
"Sundown" comes off HEARSE's fifth album, tentatively due in April via Vic Records.
The band's fourth LP, "In These Veins", was released in North America on September 18, 2007 via Candlelight Records. The follow-up to 2005's "The Last Ordeal" was recorded and mixed by Dan Swanö (EDGE OF SANITY, BLOODBATH).
Formed by longtime friends Thornell and Liiva, HEARSE recorded a demo before signing with Hammerheart Records. The band released a limited-edition 7-inch single, entitled "Torch", prior to issuing their debut album, "Dominion Reptillian", in 2003. A follow-up effort, "Armageddon Mon Amour", came out in 2004. The group's third CD, "The Last Ordeal", was released in August 2005 through Holland's Karmageddon Media.
