HEAVEN AND HELL To Guest On KNAC.COM This Tuesday

March 3, 2007

HEAVEN AND HELL — the band made up of BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler, singer Ronnie James Dio, and drummer Vinny Appice (BLACK SABBATH, DIO) — will be interviewed by Philthy Phil of KNAC.COM this coming Tuesday, March 6 at 4:30 p.m. (Pacific Time).

As previously reported, HEAVEN AND HELL will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Wednesday, April 11. The live show begins at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET, and fans are encouraged to call in with questions during the program at (800) 344-ROCK (7625). HEAVEN AND HELL will kick off a world tour with 11 Canadian dates beginning March 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and wrapping up March 28 in Ottawa, with opening acts MEGADETH and DOWN.

More dates have been leaked for the forthcoming U.S. tour featuring headliners HEAVEN AND HELL with support from MEGADETH and MACHINE HEAD (as BLABBERMOUTH.NET exclusively reported yesterday). The schedule is shaping up as follows:

Apr. 22 - Phoenix, AZ @ Dodge Theater (first show of tour)
Apr. 24 - San Jose, CA @ HP Pavilion
May 06 - Minneapolis, MN @ Target Center
May 10 - Philadelphia, PA @ Wachovia Spectrum
May 15 - Uncasville, CT @ Mohegan Sun Arena
May 17 - Lowell, MA @ Paul E. Tsongas Arena
May 19 - Holmdel, NJ @ PNC Bank Arts Center (last show of tour)

A total of 15 U.S. dates are expected to be announced on Monday, March 5, with all tickets set to go for sale around March 9. The Holmdel gig will apparently be the final show of this U.S. run.

The shows are expected to only feature material from Dio's era with BLACK SABBATH, including three new songs that were recorded for the upcoming anthology "Black Sabbath: The Dio Years" that's due April 3.
