Heavy Montreal 2016 returns to Parc Jean-Drapeau at the Plaine Des Jeux festival site on August 6 and August 7. As an official partner of the festival, BLABBERMOUTH.NET can exclusively reveal that reactivated deathcore pioneers DESPISED ICON will perform at the event. Earlier today, MASTODON was also confirmed for this year's festival.

The complete Heavy Montreal 2016 lineup will be announced on Wednesday, February 3 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.

The public on-sale will commence on February 5 at noon eastern at the regular general admission pricing of $149.50 Canadian (approximately $105 U.S.). All prices indicated above include taxes and service fees. Weekend passes are valid for two days and are non-transferrable.
