HELHEIM: More 'Behind-The-Scenes' Footage Posted Online

April 2, 2008

Norwegian black/viking metallers HELHEIM have issued the following update:

"The second video in this series of behind-the-scenes footage is now ready. This video shows Vgandr (bass) recording the track 'ndevind' from the 'Kaoskult' album in Conclave studio in Alven right outside of Bergen.

"The 'Behind The Gates Of Helheim' project is an ambitous and hairy goal to give our fans and critics a possibility to get a peak into what is going on with HELHEIM besides stage performanes. We want to give our audience a view into rehearsals, studio performances, backstage, etc."

Watch the clip below.

HELHEIM recently made a new song, "Det Nrrne Alter", available for download at this location. The track comes off the group's new album, entitled "Kaoskult", which was/will be released on March 17 in Norway and April 21 in the rest of the world via Dark Essence Records.

HELHEIM's fifth album, "The Journeys and Experiences of Death", was released in June 2006 via Dark Essence Records. The CD features guest appearances by ROOT vocalist Jiri Valter (a.k.a. Big Boss) on two songs and Marius Lynghjem from the Norwegian experimentalists CORVINE.

"The Journeys and Experiences of Death" was released as a double digipack featuring the unreleased "Helsviti" EP from 2001.
