HELLENNIUM Parts Ways With Singer
October 29, 2012Uddevalla, Sweden-based metallers HELLENNIUM have parted ways with singer Khaled El Tayara for personal reasons.
Says the band: "We never thought we'd have to type these words... The friendship shared in HELLENNIUM has been a really rare sight and even people outside the band have noticed this. That and the fact that we've shared so much, experienced so much over the years makes this even harder to bear. But we love this life too much to give up now. The stages, the fans, the friendship and the pure ecstasy of putting on a great show is too valuable to just let go of. It's not time yet...The show must go on."
Singers interested in auditioning for the vocalist position in HELLENNIUM can write to: [email protected].
HELLENNIUM recently tapped Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMOND) to produce the band's second album at his Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden.
La Rocque previously worked with HELLENNIUM on their self-titled debut CD, which came out in May via Gothenburg, Sweden's Rambo Music, a division of Gain Music Entertainment (which is distributed and partly owned by Sony Music).
HELLENNIUM has completed most of the songwriting for the next CD and is planning on hitting the studio during the coming months.
