HELLOWEEN 'Looking Forward' To South American Tour

March 5, 2008

German power metallers HELLOWEEN have issued the following update:

"After 13 shows in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Australia, the guys safely arrived back home."

Singer Andi Deris comments: “It was quite a piece of work to travel all these distances, being in the plane for many hours every other day. But it was more than worth it — we went to exotic countries, met great people who gave their best to arrange the shows best possible and the enthusiastic fans made every single concert a very special memory for us. In some countries we have been before, some we visited the first time, but one thing is for sure: It was not the last time, we will be back! Thanks to everybody who came to the shows and had a great time with us! After a small break to recover, we are looking forward to meet our crazy fans in Latin America next!"

HELLOWEEN's Japanese record label, JVC Victor, released a special two-CD version of the band's latest album, "Gambling with the Devil", on January 23. Disc One contains the regular LP — complete with the Japan-only bonus track "We Unite" — while the second CD includes the European bonus cut "See the Night" and the previously unreleased demo version of "As Long As I Fall". SPV/Steamhammer also released "Gambling with the Devil" on two-LP gatefold vinyl on February 8.
