HELLOWEEN: Two Mexican Shows Rescheduled
May 5, 2008German power metallers HELLOWEEN who were recently forced to cancel two shows on the Mexican leg of their "Hellish Rock Tour" in Guadalajara (May 4) and Chihuahua (May 5) due to an acute inflammation of singer Andi Deris' vocal cords have issued the following update:
"We are happy to announce the alternate dates for the cancelled shows in Guadalajara and Chihuahua, subsequent to the bands USA dates:
October 10 - Chihuahua, Mexico
October 11 - Guadalajara, Mexico
"All tickets stay valid for the alternate dates!!! And to end all rumors, please note the Mexican shows in Monterrey and Mexico City the coming weekend are NOT cancelled!"
HELLOWEEN's Japanese record label, JVC Victor, released a special two-CD version of the band's latest album, "Gambling with the Devil", on January 23. Disc One contains the regular LP complete with the Japan-only bonus track "We Unite" while the second CD includes the European bonus cut "See the Night" and the previously unreleased demo version of "As Long As I Fall". SPV/Steamhammer also released "Gambling with the Devil" on two-LP gatefold vinyl on February 8.
