HELLYEAH: Tulsa Show Canceled
September 8, 2010HELLYEAH has been forced to cancel its appearance at tonight's Tulsa, Oklahoma stop of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival at the Bank Of Oklahoma Center "due to weather and flight cancellations keeping a few of us from getting to the show," according to a statement released by the band.
HELLYEAH is headlining the Jägermeister Second Stage at the first annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival. Performing on the main stage are DISTURBED and AVENGED SEVENFOLD, along with STONE SOUR and HALESTORM. AIRBOURNE, HAIL THE VILLAIN, NEW MEDICINE and the Jägermeister Battle of The Bands Winner in each city round out the Jägermeister Second Stage bill. The 36-date tour launched August 17 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is visiting arenas and amphitheatres across North America before wrapping October 4 in Madison, Wisconsin.
"Stampede", the sophomore album from the metal juggernaut known as HELLYEAH — featuring Vinnie Paul Abbott (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN),Chad Gray and Greg Tribbett (MUDVAYNE),Tom Maxwell (NOTHINGFACE) and Bob "Zilla" Kakaha (DAMAGEPLAN) — sold 28,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 8 on The Billboard 200 chart.
HELLYEAH's self-titled debut CD opened with 45,000 units back in April 2007 to land at No. 9.
The "super deluxe" edition of "Stampede" features the album itself, a bonus DVD, a limited-edition lenticular 3D cover with an expanded booklet, a HELLYEAH bull skull, instant downloads of the album tracks "Cowboy Way" and "Hell Of A Time" and an MP3 download of the full album.
