HENRY ROLLINS: New Audio Interview Available For Download

February 23, 2008

An audio interview with punk rock icon Henry Rollins conducted on February 22, 2008 by Mike Metal of "The Metal File" on CHOM 97.7 FM in Montreal, Quebec, Canada is available for download at this location.

Henry Rollins was a guest on "The Woody Show" last month on San Francisco's KITS Live 105. Listen to the chat at this location.

Rollins wrote in a recent online posting, "The good folks at IFC have asked if I would do three 'Live & Uncut' specials for 2008. Some of you may be familiar with the ones I did for them from New York and Israel. The first one will be shot in South Africa in February, the next will be in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I don't know where the third one will be yet. We won't be doing the regular show this year, they like it better when I am out and about and they got a very good response on the Israel show and want to do more. I am happy to be working with them again this year.

"In 2008 I will release two books: 'Fanatic! Vol. 3' and 'A Preferred Blur'. I don't have firm release dates yet as they are both being worked on."

Rollins recently hit the road for another round of European and North American dates on his tongue-bustingly titled tour, Provoked: An Evening Of Quintessentially American Opinionated Editorializing And Storytelling.

Rollins' European jaunt kicked off January 14 at Lorensbergsteatern in Gothenburg, Sweden, and included stops in Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium, the U.K. and Ireland.

The North American leg got rolling again this past Tuesday (February 19) at First Avenue in Birmingham, Ala., and runs through mid-March.
