HER ENCHANTMENT Announce New Drummer

February 4, 2006

Dutch heavy/death metal band HER ENCHANTMENT have announced the addition of drummer Sjoerd van den Berg (ex-CENOTAPH, CYPHER) to the group's ranks. Sjoerd will make his live debut with the band on February 17 at de Kelder in Amersfoort, Holland, where both HER ENCHANTMENT and labelmates WHISPERING GALLERY will present their new albums. In March there will be another release party in HER ENCHANTMENT's hometown of Arnhem.

HER ENCHANTMENT parted ways with drummer Sander Bosscher in January because "it seemed impossible for Sander, who also plays in AM TUAT, to combine both bands," according to a posting on the group's web site.

HER ENCHANTMENT's second full-length album, "Darkest", was released late last year via Greece's Burning Star Records.
