July 24, 2019

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has shared a photo of him wearing a skull prosthetic for a movie he co-produced in 2017 called "Armed Response", with Wesley Snipes starring. According to USA Today, the thriller cast the "Passenger 57" and "Demolition Man" star as the leader of a team of special-forces soldiers investigating mysterious goings-on at a high-tech military compound. Another team previously guarding the facility, called the Temple, have mysteriously vanished, and when the new group goes in, they get trapped and encounter a variety of strange and seemingly supernatural obstacles.

The cast also includes Anne Heche, Dave Annable and WWE wrestler Seth Rollins, making his feature-film debut.

Simmons has several credits in his acting resume, including his co-starring role with Tom Selleck in the 1984 film "Runaway", as well as his cameos on "Miami Vice", "Millennium", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". Simmons went on to create a reality television show, where he starred alongside his wife, daughter, and son in the series "Gene Simmons Family Jewels".

KISS's "End Of The Road" tour kicked off on January 31 in Vancouver and is expected to continue throughout 2020.

The touring lineup features the current version of the band — Simmons, guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley, guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer.
