HEVEIN To Release Debut Album In August

July 9, 2005

Finnish melodic thrashers HEVEIN have posted the following message on their official web site:

"It's been a very hectic time at camp HEVEIN. Mixing and mastering of the [debut] album is well under way. Same people are at the helm, Mikko Karmila mixing and Svante Forsbäck mastering. We've also just finished shooting a music video for the song 'Last Drop of Innocence'. Directed by HEVEIN's own drummer Alpo Oksaharju, it incorporates some cool CG effects and thus there is a lot to do in post-production. It should be ready by the time 'Sound Over Matter' is released. Which brings us to the release dates. A seceond single will be released prior to the album. It is called 'As Far As the Eye Can See' and includes two versions of the title track and a cover song 'Walk' by PANTERA. It will be available August 10. 'Sound Over Matter' release date is August 24. Not long now."

HEVEIN's last single, "iOta", was released in April via Spinefarm Records. The single, which consists of the title cut and "Worth Fighting For", was mixed by Mikko Karmila at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki and was mastered at Chartmakers by Svante Forsbäck.

Upcoming HEVEIN shows:

Sep. 08 - Henry's Pub – Kuopio, FIN
Sep. 16 - Nuorisokeskus Palatsi – Turku, FIN
