HINDER's 'Take It To The Limit' Cracks U.S. Top 5

November 12, 2008

"Take It to the Limit", the second album from Oklahoma hard rockers HINDER, sold 81,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 4 on The Billboard 200 chart.

"Without You", the new video from HINDER, can be viewed below. The clip, which debuted on "TRL" last Thursday and went into rotation earlir this week at MTV2 and MTV Hits, features Kellan Lutz ("Twilight", "90210") and Aimee Teegarden ("Friday Night Lights").

"It's awesome to have people who are talented at acting, instead of ourselves," HINDER frontman Austin Winkler told MTV.com. "We're all so excited to have Kellan Lutz. ... It's good to have someone like him in our video. He's done 'Twilight', and he's on '90210' the series, so it's exciting to have some talented people in the video."

Winkler recently told The Pulse of Radio that HINDER will team up with MÖTLEY CRÜE for an arena tour early next year. Winkler did not provide any more information about the trek except that it will begin in January. HINDER will be supporting "Take It to the Limit", which has its own CRÜE connection: guitarist Mick Mars plays lead on the title track. Drummer Cody Hanson told The Pulse of Radio how they got together. "He actually called us up and wanted to do some writing," he said. "And we were like, 'Yeah, of course, I mean, would you be interested in playing some guitar on the album? And he was like, 'Absolutely,' you know. So we sent him the track and he loved it, and we ended up going up to his house. And, you know, he laid down a few different passes of the solo on 'Take It to the Limit'. So it was an amazing experience, you know, getting to meet one of your idols, I guess."
