HOD Completes Work On Debut Demo

July 14, 2007

HOD, the new San Antonio, Texas-based extreme metal band featuring members of NECROVORE, THORNSPAWN, EXULCERATE, and PILLCRUSHER, has completed work on its debut demo, entitled "Cry and Piss Yourself". Check out audio samples on the group's MySpace page.

Commented Bjorn Haga (ex-NECROVORE): "I would personally say that this was the best time I have had in the studio since I started actually doing the real band thing way back in 1986. Everything went extremely smooth and even the notorious overdubbing to correct errors was brilliantly easy.

"My last time to record was in 1999. Back then you had no visual reference to cue by to go back and find errors. You had to sit and listen and at the same time look at the time clock on the recorder (we were using ADAT at the time). Then the engineer had to calculate when the punch in and out times, you go and hope you nail it when the red light was on. This time, every single mistake had a visual picture as well as audio. Easy."
