HORTUS ANIMAE Record DEAD CAN DANCE Cover Featuring LIV KRISTINE

HORTUS ANIMAE, the prog-black metal project of ANCIENT drummer Diego "GroM" Meraviglia, have finished recording a cover of DEAD CAN DANCE's "Summoning of the Muse" for the upcoming DEAD CAN DANCE double-CD tribute album, "The Lotuseaters". The band will shortly enter Alpha-Omega Studios in Como, Italy to mix and master the track, which features a guest appearance by singer Liv Kristine (LEAVES' EYES, ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY). The set, which will be released through Greece's Black Lotus Records, will include contributions from such acts as THE GATHERING, TRAIL OF TEARS, ULVER, GREEN CARNATION, SEPTIC FLESH, HELENA IREN MICHAELSEN (IMPERIA, ex-TRAIL OF TEARS) and ANTIMATTER.
