HOSTILITY Calls It Quits

January 13, 2011

San Francisco Bay Area metallers HOSTILITY have released the following statement:

"After 14 years, eight releases, hundreds of shows, countless miles travelled, and many, many great times… and bottles of whiskey, HOSTILITY has decided to disband.

"We would sincerely like to thank each and every one of you ragers out there that have supported HOSTILITY through the years, We have some of the rowdiest, craziest fans out there, and have had such a great time, we never would have made it this far without you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

"This is the end of HOSTILITY, but not the end of our musical careers. Keep an eye out in the future for new projects!"

HOSTILITY's latest album, "Set In Stone", came out last summer. The CD was engineered, mixed and mastered by Juan Urteaga, who has previously worked with MACHINE HEAD, TESTAMENT and EXODUS, among many others.

HOSTILITY's critically acclaimed debut album "Uncompromised" (The Pen/Voltaic Records),was mixed by producer Colin Richardson (SLIPKNOT, MACHINE HEAD, TRIVIUM, SEPULTURA).
