Providence, Rhode Island's HOWL recently entered Machine With Magnets studios (BATTLES, CLAP YOUR HANDS SAY YEAH, LIGHTNING BOLT, DAUGHTERS) with engineer Keith Souza to begin recording its first full-length album. The as-yet-untitled record will see a spring 2010 release via Relapse. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Horns Of Steel" and "The Day of Rest".

HOWL will join SKELETONWITCH on their upcoming eastern U.S. tour. The trek will kick off on February 17 in Massachusetts and will include IRON AGE as well as guests DOOMRIDERS and BLACK TUSK on select dates.

HOWL's recently reissued self-titled, debut EP is currently being streaming via the band's MySpace page. The EP is available now as a limited-edition digipack at this location.
