HOWLING SYN Prepares To Record New Album

December 15, 2006

Mainman Patryk Pigeon of the Canadian "gothic metallers" HOWLING SYN has issued the following update:

"Yes, it's time for me and my band HOWLING SYN to record our third album. I'm leaving tomorrow for 3 Rivieres (it's in the province of Quebec, for those who don't know). We will work with Francis Perron (DECAYED REMAINS, THESYRE) who also worked on our first album, 'Forebearers of Dusk' (2002, Galy Records). 12 songs will be recorded. We will start with the drum and the bass before the holidays. I'll get back to the studio in early January for the guitars and vocals. The mixing should be done in February. So expect a more heavy, fast and theatrical record. And for those who already know, our sound you will have some suprises 'cause we will sound more aggressive and powerful than before! We will also have a few special guests on this album. La pianiste qui revais d'humanité have done a great job with the synths arangements. We'll also have Jean-Marc Pisapia from the legendary Canadian band THE BOX to lay vocals on one song and we'll have Gaby Koss to do some ambient vocals on a few songs. She is formely from the band HAGGARD.

"The title of this new album should be 'A Taste of Modern Evil'!!"

HOWLING SYN's second album, "Devilries", was released in 2004 via Escapi Music.
