HYPNOSIS: Lineup Changes Announced
November 18, 2008Guitarist/vocalist Py-Ër of the French "hybrid death metal" act HYPNOSIS has issued the following update:
"We are very happy and excited to welcome Johan (bass) and Greg (vocals) in our ranks!!!
"Here are some explanations: Patrice, due to professional reasons, was not available and motivated in the band anymore... Johan (Silicium, ex-KOLOBOS) replaced him so well during the 'Synthetic Reflections Tour' that we have decided to keep him as our permanent bass player!!!
"Due to vocal injuries that happenned to me one week before leaving, I asked Greg (ex-KARNAL) to take in charge the vocal duties during this tour... We were so satisfied by his performance that we asked him to stay as our new lead singer!!!
"Anyway, I really hope to recover my vocals abilities soon, and why not take in charge some backing vocals."
HYPNOSIS's new album, "The Synthetic Light Of Hope", was released in September via the French label Great Dane Records.
