I AM ABOMINATION: 'Since 1776' Video Released

January 28, 2011

"Since 1776", the new video from Taylor, Michigan's I AM ABOMINATION, can be viewed below. The song comes off the band's latest album, "To Our Forefathers", which was released last May 11 via Good Fight Music. The CD was produced by Joey Sturgis, who helmed THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA's most recent CD.

I AM ABOMINATION vocalist Phil Druyor feels "Since 1776" is a good representation of the band. "This song is a really mature version of what we want to sound like and represent," he says. "We took a ton of time composing the track, and we didn't hold back vocally or instrumentally."

When asked to comment on his personal feelings on the track, Phil states, "I feel connected with this track in a lyrical sense, especially because of my strong interest and beliefs in our government system. I AM ABOMINATION trusts that when fans hear the track, they'll feel inspired to form their own opinions, and we hope everyone enjoys it!"

I AM ABOMINATION's song "The Deceiver" has struck a major chord with the fanatical players of the smash hit Rock Band video games, having debuted at #4 on the Rock Band Network download chart. Diehard players of Rock Band games are known to embrace and endorse sections of play with fast soloing and complicated progression, and because of this, word spread quickly of I AM ABOMINATION among the players.
