I AM THE OCEAN Signs With UPRISING RECORDS

Uprising Records has announced the signing of the Salt Lake City-based "post-hardcore prog-rock" band I AM THE OCEAN.

According to a press release, I AM THE OCEAN is "an iconoclastic five-piece who masterfully weave epic song structures, interlacing heavy, unrelentingly savage attacks, with infectious vocal hooks, and mathematically precise — yet seemingly discordant–guitar riffs." The group's debut CD, "...And Your City Needs Swallowing", is scheduled for release in May.
