ICED EARTH Mainman Interviewed On 'Freedom Watch With Judge Andrew Napolitano' (Video)

December 13, 2010

ICED EARTH and SONS OF LIBERTY founder Jon Schaffer was interviewed on this past Friday's (December 10) edition of "Freedom Watch With Judge Andrew Napolitano", which airs on the Fox Business network. The segment can now be viewed below.

"I have a great deal of respect for Judge Napolitano," said Schaffer. "His books are eye-opening reads. He absolutely gets what’s going on."

The themes of "Brush-Fires of the Mind", the album released by Schaffer's SONS OF LIBERTY solo project, was the topic of discussion on Napolitano's show, which addresses the loss of liberty and blatant violations of the U.S. Constitution by America's own government.

Andrew Napolitano is a former New Jersey Superior Court judge, and a political and legal analyst for Fox News channel. Judge Napolitano has written three books: "Constitutional Chaos: What Happens When the Government Breaks Its Own Laws"; a New York Times bestseller, "The Constitution in Exile: How the Federal Government Has Seized Power by Rewriting the Supreme Law of the Land"; and "A Nation of Sheep".

The "Freedom Watch" web site can be found at this location.

As previously reported, Schaffer will be the guest on "Eddie Trunk Live" on Monday, December 13 between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern Time.

"Eddie and I go way back," Schaffer said. "He's one of the best interviewers in the business, and his knowledge of music is encyclopedic. So I'm looking forward to sitting across from him in his studio."

Eddie Trunk is currently heard on two national radio shows and seen on VH1 Classic and MSG networks. He has also appeared on MTV several times and on Fox News channel, worked as a freelance music journalist, boxing ring announcer, and MC for various concerts and rock events around the USA.

Schaffer formed ICED EARTH in Tampa, Florida, in 1984. Since then, he has released 10 studio albums, one live album, two compilations, and three boxed sets.

ICED EARTH has been confirmed to appear at Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium, on June 24, 2011. Additional festival dates will be announced soon on the band's official web site, Facebook and MySpace.
