ICON IN ME: Moscow Footage Available
June 19, 2009GuitarWorld.ru has uploaded video footage (see below) of ICON IN ME — the Russian/Swedish/Danish modern metal band featuring HOSTILE BREED guitarist D.Frans, Danish drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen (SUBMISSION, THE ARCANE ORDER, SCARVE, INSTANT CARNAGE, STRANGLER, SCARVE, SOILWORK) and Swedish vocalist Tony Jelencovich (M.A.N, ex-MNEMIC, TRANSPORT LEAGUE) — performing two songs on May 30, 2009 at Plan B in Moscow, Russia.
ICON IN ME's debut CD, "Human Museum", was released on April 24 via Massacre Records. The CD was recorded in November 2007 at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark and was mixed by Jacob Hansen.
ICON IN ME's video for the song "That Day, That Sorrow" was directed by Yuri Yeryomin, who has previously worked with the Russian band ARKONA (Napalm Records).
According to the band's official bio, ICON IN ME's style can best be described as "modern metal with some thrash, death and hardcore style elements."
