Illness Forces MELVINS U.S. Tour Cancellation

October 5, 2004

MELVINS have cancelled their previously announced U.S. tour "due to an illness in the band," according to a statement posted on the Icepac Records web site. "We are hoping that the shows will be able to be rescheduled in the future and the band sincerely apologizes for any incvonvenience caused by this unforseen circumstance. Knowing the MELVINS like we do, we have no doubt that they will return stronger than ever. Thanks for your support and understanding."

MELVINS recently teamed up with former DEAD KENNEDYS singer Jello Biafra to record two albums' worth of material, the first, "Never Breathe What You Can't See", coming this month via Biafra's Alternative Tentacles label.
