IMMOLATION Drummer Joins Melodic Black Metallers REQUIEM AETERNAM
April 16, 2004Melodic black metal band REQUIEM AETERNAM, originally from Uruguay but currently based in New York, have announced that drummer Alex Hernández, known for his work in IMMOLATION, has joined the group to lay down the drum tracks for their upcoming album, "Philosopher". "His huge talent and wide experience, gained in more than a decade of death metal, will contribute a stronger touch to the band style," reads a post on the group's web site.
The follow-up to 1998's "Eternally Dying" will be recorded starting on May 9 at Big Blue Meenie studios in New Jersey. The whole process will take between two and three weeks. A late 2004 release is expected.
