This comprehensive collection brings more than three decades of the band's history together in a single, cohesive set.

The box set will be released on January 29, 2027, and is available to pre-order via the dedicated web site, immortalbox.com.

IMMORTAL is one of the most important bands in the history of Norwegian black metal. From the very beginning, the band developed a distinctive style that continued to evolve over the years without ever losing its unmistakable identity. A cold, atmospheric sound, signature riffs, and a unique northern character became IMMORTAL's trademarks, with each successive album revealing another facet of the band's musical development.

The story presented in this box set begins with "Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism", the band's debut album, released in 1992. It established a style that would become one of the defining sounds of the Norwegian black metal scene. A year later, "Pure Holocaust" delivered an even rawer and more intense approach, while 1995's "Battles In The North" pushed the band's speed, aggression, and characteristic coldness even further, cementing IMMORTAL's position within the extreme metal scene. Two years later, "Blizzard Beasts" continued along this path while also showcasing the band's growing compositional and sonic ambitions.

In the late 1990s, IMMORTAL entered a new phase. Released in 1999, "At The Heart Of Winter" marked a significant shift in the band's songwriting. Alongside the intensity of black metal, classic heavy metal riffs, melodies, and more elaborate song structures became increasingly prominent. The following albums, "Damned In Black" and "Sons of Northern Darkness", further developed this direction while retaining the atmosphere and identity that had always defined IMMORTAL.

After a hiatus of several years, IMMORTAL returned in 2009 with "All Shall Fall". The album demonstrated that the band could continue to combine the intensity of black metal with elements of classic heavy metal while maintaining its distinctive character.

The box set also includes live material. "The Seventh Date of Blashyrkh - Live" documents IMMORTAL's performance at Wacken Open Air in 2007, capturing the band on stage and providing a natural complement to the studio recordings.

The latest chapters of IMMORTAL's history are represented by "Northern Chaos Gods" (2018) and "War Against All" (2023). These albums opened a new era for the band, with Demonaz taking over vocal duties while the music remained firmly rooted in IMMORTAL's distinctive style.
