IMMORTAL SOULS And TRAGØDIA Sign To DARK BALANCE

May 18, 2007

After signing PICTURE OF THE MOON and MENA BRINNO two months ago, Dark Balance has expanded its artist roster with the addition of Finnish melodic death act IMMORTAL SOULS and Italian gothic/gloom band TRAGØDIA.

The new album of IMMORTAL SOULS is titled "Wintereich" and will be released on June 1. Release date for the first full-length of TRAGØDIA is set for October 1. A European tour featuring TRAGØDIA alongside MENA BRINNO (USA) and SERAPHIM (Taiwan) is also in the works.

TRAGØDIA started back in 1996 and has so far released a demo and a mini-CD in 2002, titled "All our Miseries". The band played doom/death metal in the beginning, but because of lineup changes, their music transformed over the years into a sound that can be described as a combination of gothic, gloom rock and progressive metal. You can listen to a sample of their forthcoming album on their MySpace page.

IMMORTAL SOULS started back in 1991 and has thus far released two other full-lengths, and has appeared on a compilation double disc and other EPs and demos. With the third full-length, "Wintereich", the four masters of IMMORTAL SOULS exceed their selves with the finest blend of melodic death and black metal and ice cold frostiness lyrics and artwork.
