IMPELLITTERI Announce New Singer

IMPELLITTERI have announced the addition of ex-SPEAK NO EVIL singer Curtis Skelton to the group's ranks. The band are still finishing up work on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2002's "System X", tentatively due in early 2004. The CD, which is currently being recorded with producer Greg Reely (FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD),will apparently mark a significant musical departure from the group's previous neo-classical offerings.

Says mainman Chris Impellitteri, "The record at this point is the best record IMPELLITTERI have done. We sound completely fresh and energetic. The music has a lot of the new Swedish metal scene vibe. It is heavy heavy! [Producer] Greg Reely [MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY, DEVILDRIVER] is helping us with the sound of the record. Imagine bands like FEAR FACTORY, or DISTURBED, or SOILWORK or even SLIPKNOT, with technical guitar solos. So far so good!!"
