IN AETERNUM To Team Up With ROTTING CHRIST For U.S. Tour

July 6, 2006

Swedish death/black metallers IN AETERNUM will be embarking on a two-week U.S. co-headlining tour with ROTTING CHRIST beginning on November 16, 2006. Support on the trek will come from RESUSCITATOR. "The plan for the tour is to start on the East Coast and play most of the bigger cities to finish on the West Coast in early December," IN AETERNUM write on their web site.

"This tour will mark the first USA appearance for IN AETERNUM in more or less six years. The band has been promised to play a set of 60 minutes, so you better get prepared for a strong set of fucking classic armageddon metal of death!"

IN AETERNUM are currently writing material for their fifth album. The new songs are said to be "in the classic IN AETERNUM style. . .The rough solo parts sounds really cool, a bit like old-style MORBID ANGEL solos. The new guitar player Erik Kumpulainen is really giving his best while bending those insane tunes."

IN AETERNUM recently announced the addition of Kumpulainen and bassist Claes Ramberg to the group's ranks. The band's fourth album, "Dawn Of A New Aeon", was released last year via Agonia Records.
