...IN DEVILTRY: New Lineup Complete

July 24, 2009

...IN DEVILTRY, the new Rio Grando do Norte, Brazil-based band formed by Tommy Lindal, one of the founding members of Norway's THEATRE OF TRAGEDY, has issued the following update:

"After months of searching and testing to find the 'perfect' member, it is with great pleasure that we now can announce that ...IN DEVILTRY is complete and has started working and writing their own material."

"It's been a very long, hard and confusing prosess, but we now feel very comfortable with our full lineup," says Tommy Lindal. I really was losing my hope to find the right people, but in the last stage of testing, something happened. During the test, everybody was playing, banging and the singing was perfect, the chemistry between everybody was united. This was it, this moment is what I've been waiting for all these months."

...IN DEVILTRY is:

Larisse Katarine - Vocals
Filipe Santos - Vocals
Tommy Lindal (THEATRE OF TRAGEDY) - Guitar
David Cantidio - Guitar
Raul Damasceno - Bass
Lourran Antonio - Keyboards
Marcelo Costa (EXPOSE YOUR HATE) - Drums

Regarding the use of two singers, Tommy explains that the main vocals will be handled by Larisse Katarine, but in order to bring out the contrast in the band's music, the male vocals will be an important issue. He says, "...IN DEVILTRY will not be a typical 'beauty-and-the-beast' band, but will place male vocals strategically in some of our songs."

He adds, "The sound is yet to be set, but to give you an idea, it will be melodic, obscure, heavy and psychotic, with classical elements."

Tommy Lindal left THEATRE OF TRAGEDY in 1997 for medical reasons.
